Metal Frame Renewables: Leading the Way in Global Carbon Footprint Reduction.

Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation

In a world where the transition to a sustainable future is a necessity
imperative, Metal Frame Renewables is positioned as a key player in reducing carbon footprints. From our headquarters in Extremadura, we combine technology, innovation and sustainability to lead the shift towards a low-carbon economy.

Our commitment to the environment is reflected in the application of strict
sustainable design and production criteria. We hold international certifications such as ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 27001 for information security, ensuring that our operations comply with the most demanding standards and ISO 20400 for sustainable purchases. As well as CE Marking EN 1090: Structural safety in steel and
aluminium.
These certifications guarantee quality, sustainability, and safety in all our operations.

Design and Innovation for a Clean Future

Each of our designs is a statement of commitment to the planet.
We work with materials such as aluminium recyclable and steels treaties, which do not
not only maximise durability, but also minimise environmental impact.
Our structures comply with the strictest regulations, such as Eurocodes, and are designed to optimise the energy efficiency of each
project.

What is a carbon footprint?

The carbon footprint is an environmental indicator that measures the total amount of greenhouse gases
greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted directly or indirectly by a person,
organisation, event or product. It is expressed in tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO₂e) and covers emissions from energy consumption,
transport, industrial production and other human processes.

There are three scopes in carbon footprint measurement:

  • Scope 1: Direct emissions, such as those generated by the combustion of fossil fuels in vehicles or machinery.
  •  Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the consumption of purchased electricity.
  • Scope 3: Other indirect emissions, such as those derived from the supply chain or employee commuting.
Reducing our carbon footprint is essential to mitigating climate change and moving towards a more sustainable economic model.

Cutting-edge technology

  • Photovoltaic structures adapted to different environments.
  • PRG 1100 Single-wire and Double-wire Solar Trackers, which optimise uptake
    solar energy.
  • Structural solutions for industrial and residential self-consumption,
    guaranteeing efficiency and reliability.
  • Agrovoltaic projects, which combine energy generation and agriculture
    sustainable.
  • Projects for car parks and shelters, designed to utilise parking space for solar energy generation while providing protection for vehicles.
Our technology complies with regulations such as Eurocodes and CE EN 1090 certifications, ensuring maximum structural strength.

Making an Impact with Clean Energy

From 2021 to 2024, we have calculated our own carbon footprint, which allows us to measure and optimise our operations to reduce emissions.
We have designed structures that generate more than 888.6 GWp of photovoltaic energy, equivalent to avoiding millions of tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
This puts us at the forefront of the fight against climate change, replacing fossil fuels with clean, renewable sources in projects spanning different countries.

Agrovoltaic Projects

Our agrovoltaic projects represent the perfect combination of
environmental sustainability and agricultural efficiency. These solutions enable the generation of clean energy while improving growing conditions, such as optimising water use and protecting against erosion. They also promote sustainable agriculture and contribute to food security by reducing the carbon footprint associated with these activities.

Agrovoltaics is not only a technological solution, but also a comprehensive model for addressing the challenges of climate change and promoting sustainable development in rural areas. Its ability to reduce emissions, conserve natural resources and improve the rural economy makes it a key tool in the fight against climate change. With adequate support in public policy and financing, its adoption can make a significant difference globally.

In future publications, we will explore the technological innovations that are driving its development and the investment opportunities for smallholder farmers.

Local and Responsible Production

With a focus on the circular economy, we manufacture our structures in Spain, reducing transport-related emissions. Our operations incorporate state-of-the-art technologies that guarantee clean and efficient production processes.
In addition, our structures are guaranteed for up to 30 years against
corrosion, ensuring its long-term strength and durability.

Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint is aligned with several SDGs:
highlighting:

  • SDG 7: Affordable and clean energy.
  • SDG 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure.
  • SDG 13: Climate action.
  • SDG 18: Life of terrestrial ecosystems, through projects that respect and promote biodiversity.

We also contribute indirectly to SDG 11 by integrating sustainable energy solutions in urban communities and by SDG 10 by reducing energy inequalities.

Education and Awareness

We understand that cultural change is essential to combat climate change. That is why we promote workshops and collaborations to raise awareness among customers and partners about
the importance of renewable energy and reducing our carbon footprint.

Constant commitment to a greener planet

At Metal Frame Renewables, we believe that every action counts. We will continue to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that enable a positive impact.
both locally and globally. Our goal is clear: to be leaders in the transition to a future where carbon footprint is a thing of the past.

Let's make a meaningful change together!

At Metal Frame Renewables, we remain committed to a more sustainable world, with
cutting-edge technology and a firm commitment to the environment.
